A Story of Family, Death, & Destiny
What Malcolm Doesn’t Know
Malcolm Usher has no idea what his father really does when he's at work. He doesn't know why sometimes he just knows when someone's going to die. He doesn't know why he sees ghosts. He doesn't know why his Tarot reading always begins with the Death card. And he has no idea that Penumbra isn't just a board game he got for Christmas one year; it's what lies beyond mortality.
It all might make more sense if he knew his father is an Usher of Death.
